![]() ![]() If the model does not have enough polygons for its size, it can appear low-res in the actual print. Once created, you can access your custom presets through the Custom flyout menu in the Presets dropdown. Smoothing shaders applied in KeyShot do not actually tessellate or add any polygons to the model. If your desired output resolution is not populated in the Presets dropdown you can manually type in the values or you can create a custom resolution or aspect preset by selecting Edit Custom from the Presets dropdown. If you do not want the real-time view to adjust size as you resize the docked windows and application window you can enable the lock icon to the right of the height field. When this is the case you will be able to change the size of the application window and maintain the correct image aspect for output. Is there a way to stop Zbrush from sending the document size/aspect settings Not sure if this is a pixologic or Luxion issue. On the Keyshot side i have tried locking aspect, locking resolution, locking image settings, but to no avail. A locked aspect is indicated by the chain-link icon located in between width and height set to a blue state. When using Keyshot bridge, the keyshot image aspect ratio and resolution are overridden with the Zbrush document size/aspect ratio. This will automatically lock the aspect to the selected preset. The easiest way to do this is to select from the Presets dropdown. For example, if you plan to render at 1920X1080px you want to make sure the resolution set in the Image tab has the same aspect. Whatever aspect is set here defines the aspect for final image output. ![]() This resolution defines the width and height in pixels of the real-time view and changes dynamically as you adjust the application size and docked window size. Resolution is the first item found in the Project > Image tab. ![]()
